My name is Sgt. Shevat. I built many types of plastic models when I was a child and still do today. I took 1st place at AZ state fair in models for 2008 and 2009. I have also built rockets as a child too but never had the money to continue. But, 14 years ago I bought some rockets and launch pad and now have over 70 rockets big and small with some great flights and some bad launches. I am amazed at the amount of power and heat that comes from a small motor. I am excited to have a hobby store and look forward to providing the community with many more years of service and products with very competitive pricing.

The Store:
Our store is an old 1940 built home. It has had several rooms added on the back in 1962. Wood floors were restored as well as the kitchen tile floor. The walls are still intact as well as the windows which were replace by aluminum 15 years ago. The front porch is now a game room and community info board area. 15 tons of dirt was removed by hand from the front yard and 15 tons of gravel in its place, now a parking area. Fence was reused elswhere.
The GREEN STORE
Recycling:
Sergeant Hobby recycles all paper boxes, plastics and catalogs with city of Holbrook.We give all shopping bags a second use instead of the dump. We give FREE packing materials to customers that want them and store the rest. Paper packing is put into fire place. 95% waste free store. The Sgt. drives an all electric car to and from the store. 98% less pollution than a gas car if powered by coal power plant.
